About The Chapter

Founded in 1997, the PMI Kentuckiana Chapter has grown and evolved, with members representing project management in industry, consulting, government, academia, nonprofits, and more. Over 70% of our members have earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential. We were incorporated on March 16, 2001 as a 501(c)(6) non-profit corporation as defined by the United States Internal Revenue Service.

We are one of two chapters located in Kentucky and serve our members in the greater Louisville, Southern Indiana, and other surrounding communities. We welcome members from the military and outside our local area.

Our Region

The Kentuckiana chapter is one of two PMI chapters in the state of Kentucky. Kentucky Bluegrass, based in Lexington, is the other.  Our chapter is one of the 13 chapters included in the Mid-Atlantic North America Region (Region 5) that includes Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.
