ProjectBites LIVE! - October 6, 2022
Description
The Project Coach
Lisa DiTullio
Today’s post-pandemic business environment tells us that rapid, constant, and disruptive change is now the norm and business coaching is more important than ever. For project managers, coaching others has evolved as an essential skill needed alongside leading project team members. But with so much to do and so little guidance, how do project managers successfully stretch and develop others while getting the work done?
Lisa DiTullio will share simple coaching tips that can be incorporated into routine interactions with project team members while ensuring delivery of successful project results. She will talk about how coaching is based on asking rather than telling, on challenging rather than instructing, and by holding a person accountable for results.

Mastering the People Side of Project Management
Jonathan Cinelli
Have you ever been on the wrong side of a project when the people hate you (the project manager); the project is failing + completion seems far in the distant? Could it be the people? The project? You?
Jonathan provides an engaging perspective on how the situation becomes dramatically different when we peel back the layers on what it really means to be a "PM" on a project. You are a people manager, first.
He dissects what this means for projects today; + leaves us with fundamental tools, insights, + actions, which when implemented, could "right side up the ship".
