August Book Club (Virtual) – Influence in Talent Development
Book Club Meeting - August 25, 2022
Description
For our August book club event, we will be discussing Influence in Talent Development by Vivian Blade. Earn PDUs and get to know other members (and guests) of the Chapter.
At work, we often find ourselves in situations where we can and do influence others. We are negotiators, persuaders, conciliators, and maybe intermediaries and mediators. While there used to be little to no emphasis placed on developing these skills, organizations now recognize the ability to influence as critical for effective employee relations and productivity.
Join the book's author, Vivian Blade, to examines the growing importance of personal influence at work and its impact on your relationships, career, and organizational success. Vivian will help us explore what we can do in our professional and personal lives to cultivate and benefit from the influence we have so we can be more impactful.
