MORNING SESSION

Managing Organizational Change & Transition

The pace and complexity of change in the workplace continues to increase dramatically. This course is designed for those who are responsible for implementing change or helping to implement change.  Participants will learn from experienced change managers a solid understanding of the fundamentals of organizational change management as well as a variety of techniques and tools for effectively guiding their organizations and the people in them through times of change. Additionally, participants will have time to discuss and reflect on how what they learn can be applied to their own change efforts.

Bud Ratliff (PMP®, Prosci Advanced Change Management Practitioner, Project+, MCSE, MCTS, MCP, Scrum Fundamentals Certified), President and Managing Partner, founded Solarity in 2003, and has twenty plus years of experience in the industry.

Bud has extensive experience in working with public sector agencies, including serving as executive program/project manager for several ERP projects and on large development and modernization efforts utilizing multiple vendors/in-house staff for the Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS). He will take an active interest in this engagement and can help as needed.

An experienced consultant and trainer with a degree in education, he has delivered Enterprise Project Management consulting locally, nationally, and internationally in diverse organization ranging from healthcare, technology, pharma, military, government, and higher education.

He is a graduate of Leadership Central Kentucky and Leadership Lexington and was elected Distinguished Leader for his class. Bud has served as President of the PMI Chapter and helped found the local IIBA Bluegrass Chapter, serving as its first VP of Administration and Finance.
