About the Presentation
Did you know that Fort Knox is a significant contributor to the Louisville metro economy and growth plan? Brig. Gen. (Retired) Jim Iacocca will share the current and potential future impacts, economic and otherwise, that Fort Knox has on the region extending into the Louisville Metro and Southern Indiana. Highlights of the presentation will include current strategy methodologies and projects in the pipeline designed to sustain Fort Knox and grow it's influence within the Louisville area.

About Our Presenter
Retired Brig. Gen. James Iacocca is KRDA's first President / Chief Executive Officer. Iacocca’s Army career included multiple assignments at Fort Knox. He is the former Adjutant General of U.S. Army Human Resources Command, Deputy Commanding General of U.S. Army Recruiting Command and the former Brigade Commander for the Army’s 3rd Recruiting Brigade.
In addition to his experience at Fort Knox, Iacocca served at multiple installations including Fort Bragg, N.C. with the 82ndAirborne Division and Army Special Operations Command deploying to both Afghanistan and Iraq. He also served at the Pentagon on the staff for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
