[In -Person] Educational Workshop 6 - Thinking like a Prompted Project Manager

Business Acumen

Project managers can shift from task execution to intent engineering. This topic covers prompt engineering as a professional meta-skill—translating ambiguous goals, stakeholder constraints, and risk tradeoffs into clear, reusable AI instructions that improve planning, analysis, and communication.

The facilitators will use popular generative AI tools, real case studies, and prompt engineering best practices to show practical examples of the application of prompt engineering to project management tasks.

Key takeaways from this session include:

  1. Generative AI is a thought partner for project managers; but leveraging generative AI tools does not replace judgement.
  2. Project managers can move faster and do more with generative AI.
  3. Practicing prompt engineering daily in a timebox builds confidence, skill and makes for a productive day.
  4. You should become a supercharged AI version of yourself.
