Women In Leadership Series - Creating Your Career Garden

Ways of Working

In a season of constant change, many accomplished professionals default to resilience and survival. But resilience alone is not enough. This session reframes career development as cultivation rather than crisis management. Through personal storytelling and practical frameworks, Lisa Huber explores creativity as an essential professional skill - the ability to see options, solve problems visibly, build networks organically and design sustainable growth.

Participants will examine their own “career gardens,” exploring roots (skills and values), cross-pollination (networks and visibility), pruning (boundaries and energy), and the Third Places that protect identity beyond job titles. They’ll leave with practical tools to cultivate sustainable growth grounded in curiosity.
