Educational Workshop 1 - Personal Strategic Planning
KIPMI is committed to advancing the art and science of project management through learning and collaboration. In 2026, the KIPMI Board will offer 10 workshops. Attendees will engage in strategic thinking and earn two PDUS at the low cost of $10. The first workshop will feature the tool, personal strategic plan. Personal strategic plans combine best practices from organizational planning and personal development. Strategic planning involves both the identification of strategy and its implementation. The personal strategic plan is a tool which allows individuals to set goals and accomplish them using the appropriate amount of structure. Workshop attendees will answer a series of questions relating to a personal mission statement, personal board of directors, tailored focus areas and habit-based goal setting. Ultimately, the personal strategic plan is a well thought out representation of choices. Attending the workshop will be a great way to practice planning in 2026.
