June 2023 Luncheon (Virtual Only) - Project Prenups for Better Governance
Kentuckiana Chapter Meeting – June 20, 2023 - Virtual Only
Topic: Project Prenups for Better Governance
Register beginning June 1
Abstract
Project governance is most effective if it is clearly defined, realistic, manageable, and covers the full network of skills and support needed to make a project successful. This presentation intends to distill complex governance concepts into practical recommendations and clear-cut illustrations to help PMs organize, manage, and communicate to all parties impacted by a project.
Who will make the decisions? Who is assigned the work vs. providing oversight? What information will be important to different groups? What logistical considerations should be detailed out? As a PM, you must capture, communicate, and get buy in on the full network of skills, experience, and support needed for projects to be successful.
