            1 Technical PDU (1-PMP, 1-PgMP, 1-ACP)

In June 2019, the Project Management Institute (PMI®) announced that significant changes are coming to the Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification Exam. In this session, we will explore what this means if (1) you are planning to take the exam or (2) you are a current PMP credential holder and want to stay relevant in the marketplace w/o retaking the exam.

Who should attend? Anyone beginning, transitioning, or advancing their project management career using traditional, agile, and/or hybrid approaches. Whether you already have your PMP® certification or are planning to earn it, this session is for you. PMI® has acknowledged that agile is not just here to stay; it represents a significant shift in the way projects are, or should be, managed. And in order to earn the PMP® credential and to manage agile projects, you are expected to know all about agile if you have your PMP®.

Key Take-a-Ways:

  1. Why is the PMP Exam changing?
  2. When is the PMP Exam changing?
  3. What are the PMP Exam changes?
  4. When will the PMBOK® Guide change?
  5. How do you study for the new PMP Exam?
  6. When should you take the PMP Exam?
  7. What do current PMP credential holders need to know to stay relevant?
