About Our Presenter, Kevin Derbin,Executive Leadership Coach & Facilitator, Academy Leadership
Our speaker for January, Kevin Derbin, is a Seasoned Hands-On Operations Executive with tested expertise in organizational leadership, business transformation and profit improvement. A veteran (10 years as a Naval Officer) with over 28 years in the industrial/specialty packaging (healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical, biotech, food, spirits, solar, animal health) sectors. Kevin has led multi-plant businesses from 50 to 1000 associates in both privately-held and public companies. 
As VPGM Global Glass at Amcor, Kevin successfully executed a financial turnaround from severe losses to robust profitability in 15 months culminating in successful divestiture (2X+ expected return).
As VPGM for Alcan, utilizing a world class lean/six sigma core model and Balanced Scorecard approach, Kevin led the NA Flexibles Business to record profitability building a performance driven, customer centric center of excellence.
Kevin’s commitment and passion as a Servant Leader has been to focus on the development of people’s skill, contribution and value to work together to successfully achieve a common goal and vision. Being a successful leader means being a diligent steward of the businesses we manage and those colleagues we lead with a penchant to inspire and achieve extraordinary results.
