  • Kentucky Bill Affects Chapter Event Registration

    Hello, Starting July 1, 2018, the Kentucky Revenue Cabinet has enacted a Tax Reform bill that will affect the amount the chapter charges to your event fees. As your chapter president I am committed to transparency in our chapter financial interactions and wanted to make sure that all chapter members have full visibility to why there is a difference in registration before and after the July 1 date. We will be charging a 6% tax on all events, monthly meetings, Holiday Party, Professional Development Days, the upcoming Fall Symposium (October), and all other events and opportunities that require admission. Our summer events including the July ballgame and August Chapter Meeting have already been changed to reflect this update from our legistature.
