joe_small.jpgJoe Luttrell, PMP is a seasoned practitioner as the Manager of Systems and Process Integration at Southern Graphic Systems International in Louisville, KY.  He is the President of EQ Seminars, LLC, a company dedicated to providing professional development workshops focused on interpersonal leadership skills.   Mr. Luttrell is a practical PM application and PMP exam prep instructor at the University of Louisville Delphi Center.   He is a Dale Carnegie Graduate Assistant instructor.  Joe is a 6-year board member of PMI’s Region 5 Kentuckiana Chapter and the chapter’s current President.   His speaking accolades include two Dale Carnegie Awards and glowing feedback from numerous professional development days, speaking and teaching engagements.  Mr. Luttrell assists the Cerebral Palsy Kids Center and the Spina Bifida Center in Louisville with their Project Management and data analytic needs.  Joe resides in Louisville and enjoys spending time with his wife and two teen age daughters.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, and an MBA with a concentration in eCommerce from the University of Oklahoma. He obtained his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2008. Steve has broad industry experience leading quality initiatives and change acceleration projects including Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Management (BPM), and ISO 9001. Steve is an accomplished speaker and trainer. Students who have attended his training sessions describe him as informative, kind, contemplative, and thorough. “Steve has the ability to explain complex topics and technical terms using language I can understand”.

He joined Humana Inc. in March 1998 after serving as a Personnel Service Manager in the U.S. Army for 5 years. He has held various positions within Humana and is currently working as an Information Technology Project Manager in the Information Technology Project Management Office. He earned an Associate in Applied Science from Elizabethown Community College in June 2005.

mary_small.jpgMary is an Information Technology Project Manager at Humana and has over 20 years experience in operational management and project management. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis on Consumer Psychology in 1988 through the University of Kentucky.

Mary’s first volunteer work was the Vijay Verma event in the fall of 2008 on Power and Influence in Project Management which provided a development workshop for chapter members.

Mary’s tenure will be a minimum of two years as the VP of Programs for 2009 an 2010. Mary is the executive sponsor for the Region 5 Leadership Conference in January 2010 in Louisville.

Mary and her team strive to provide interesting and powerful monthly speakers as well as a minimum of one annual workshop to provide knowledge and development in the area of project management (and of course, PDUs).

eh_small.jpgEd Hammerbeck, PMP, has ten years of experience in systems & business analysis and design, programming, enterprise application support, IT security, and IT/business alignment. In his seven-plus years with the Metropolitan Sewer District, he has led teams of users and consultants in SAP ERP upgrade projects, call center management software upgrades, and numerous custom development projects. Since 2005, he has also served the project management profession in another capacity as a volunteer leader for the Americas' SAP User Group. He currently serves ASUG as the Project Systems SIG Program Chair, developing educational content, delivering webinars, and planning events for the benefit of users of SAP's integrated project management module (Project Systems). Ed has been supporting KIPMI's Web Integration team since 2007.
